COUNTRY STORE, FRENCH STYLE

Dimanche matin à la Ferme de Gally
I have French neighbors who qualify the country garden and general store at the Ferme de Gally near Saint-Cyr-l'Ecole as "trop Parisienne." I say general store--it consists of greenhouses, garden and pet supplies, home decor and kitchen boutiques, and a terroir and fresh food market all under one roof on a historic farm. Although it's only about 40 km from Paris, it's in the heart of the picturesque plaine de Versailles and country enough for me. One of the few stores in these parts that's open on Sundays.
