Clothing Advice from Grand-mère
The temptation is to dress lightly in April, but it's a capricious and chilly month. Best to heed the old French dictum:

En avril, ne te découvre pas d'un fil.
In April, don't take off a thread; or "Til April's dead, change not a thread."
